Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ksar Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate
We will pick up you from you from your hotel in Marrakech at 8 am. Then our tour from Marrakech to the Desert begins with a crossing of the highest mountain in Morocco. Afterwards we start to Climb it on the Mountain of high Atas when we get to the village of Ait berkka. The first stop will take place to capture beautiful photos. After that we will cross the forest of Toufliht. We then arrive in a water source, our journey continues through the turns of Tichka passing through the Berber village Tadart. We arrive at the summit of Tizi n Ticha 1260m called Assanfou means in Berber the break. From there we descend to the village of Telouat to visit the village and the kasbah of Pasha Glaoui. Day 2: Ouarzazate – Draa Valley – Nkob – Tazarine – Rissani – Merzouga Desert
The second day of this trip from Marrakech to Merzouga will be spent through the Draa valley, and several magnificent Berber villages. First we will cross the valley near Ouarzazate it’s the Tidili valley. Then we will head to the road to Agdez we will pass by the mountain of Ait Saouen where we stop to take beautiful photos of this famous chain of the anti Atlas. We stop at Agdez to visit the Kasbah of Tmnougalt. Our trip from Marrakech to the desert continues to cross the villages of Nkob and that of Tazarine. This area is known for its hot clemat and the acacia tree as if you were in central Africa.
Merzouga desert:
We will then pass to Alnif and the city of Rissani which represents the capital of southern Morocco rich in its history and also represents the commercial center of caravans coming from southern sahara to sell their wares to Rissani and Tafilalt. From there we continue to Merzouga where we will have a camel ride to explore the dunes of Erg Chebbi and see the magical sunset over the large dunes. This night will be a special one because you will enjoy a music show of the berber nomads as well as you will enjoy a good dinner around the campfire. Sleeping under the starry sky in nomad tents.
Day 3: Desert Erg Chebbi – Khamlia – Erfoud – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
This morning in the Sahara of Erg Chebbi if you want to see another wonder of the Sahara. You get up early to watch the sunrise in the dunes. After your breakfast we will go to Merzouga by camel to enjoy a hot shower at the hotel. Then we drive towards Dades. We will pass by another road which joins Merzouga to Marrakech. Visit the city of Erfoud: the city of dates, it organizes the annual festival of dates in Morocco. Also known by these fossils and marble unique in Morocco.
Todra and Dades gorges:
From there the Marrakech desert Tour continue by the road of jorf and Tinjdad to join the gorges of Todra. Here we will have time for lunch. So we will pass through the valley of Dades to the city of roses where we will stop to discover the products of roses, then the path of a thousand kasbahs takes us to Immassine village and the palm grove of Skoura to visit the kssar (kasbah) of Amredil.
