Su viaje comienza en el puerto de Tánger , donde nuestro equipo le recibirá en la puerta de entrada entre Europa y África. Partiremos hacia las majestuosas montañas del Rif , disfrutando de un recorrido panorámico por paisajes escarpados
Al llegar a Chefchaouen , quedará inmediatamente impresionado por el refrescante clima de montaña y la serenidad única de esta “Ciudad Azul”. Famosa por sus casas enclavadas en las colinas y pintadas en mil tonos de azul, Chefchaouen es un remanso de paz. Pasará su primera noche en un encantador riad tradicional o en un alojamiento de lujo de alta gama , ideal para relajarse
Después del desayuno, salimos de la Ciudad Azul y viajamos al sur hacia Fez . Nuestra primera parada es un viaje en el tiempo a las antiguas ruinas romanas de Volubilis . Declaradas Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO, albergan los mosaicos mejor conservados del norte de África e impresionantes arcos de triunfo que narran la historia de la presencia del Imperio Romano en Marruecos.
El viaje continúa hacia Mequinez , el «Versalles de Marruecos» y una de las cuatro ciudades imperiales. Visitaremos su histórica medina, la monumental puerta de Bab Mansour y los Caballerizos Reales. Al final de la tarde, llegaremos a nuestro destino: Fez , el corazón espiritual e intelectual del Reino. Pasará la noche en un riad tradicional y elegante , ubicado dentro de las antiguas murallas de la medina
Después del desayuno, comenzará su exploración de Fez el Bali , la medina medieval más antigua y grande del mundo. Nuestra visita guiada le llevará a través de un laberinto de historia y espiritualidad. Contemplará las majestuosas puertas doradas del Palacio Real y visitará la Mezquita y Universidad Al-Qarawiyyin , fundada en el siglo IX y reconocida como la institución que otorga títulos universitarios más antigua del mundo.
El viaje continúa hacia el Mausoleo de Moulay Idriss II , fundador de la ciudad, y los vibrantes zocos donde los artesanos aún emplean técnicas centenarias. Tras un almuerzo tradicional marroquí en el corazón de la Medina, visitaremos la hermosa Fuente Nejjarine , el sereno Jardín del Harén y el Museo Batha , famoso por su colección de arte tradicional marroquí. Antes de regresar a su riad, nos dirigiremos a un mirador panorámico para disfrutar de una espectacular puesta de sol sobre el dorado paisaje urbano de Fez.
Today, we journey south toward the Middle Atlas mountains, beginning in the scenic region of Imouzzer. We will drive through ancient forests of cedar, juniper, and cork oak, famous for their abundant wildlife. Keep your eyes open for Barbary macaques, wild boars, and various bird species that inhabit this lush landscape. As we ascend, you will see the authentic nomadic lifestyle, with Berber tents and herds of goats scattered across the rugged mountain slopes.
After a relaxing lunch in Midelt, we continue through breathtaking mountain passes overlooking the majestic Ziz Valley. The route is lined with vast palm groves and ancient fortified Kasbahs. Passing through Errachidia and Erfoud, we will reach Merzouga by late afternoon. Here, the true adventure begins: you will trek by camel into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to witness a spectacular sunset. You will spend an unforgettable night in a traditional desert camp under a canopy of stars.
The day begins with a magical experience: waking up early to witness the sunrise over the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. After this unforgettable moment, we return to Merzouga by camel for breakfast and a refreshing shower at the hotel. We then set off toward the Dades Valley, passing through Rissani and Erfoud, a city world-renowned for its high-quality dates and ancient fossil workshops.
Our journey continues to Tinejdad and the magnificent Todra Gorges. You will have the opportunity to walk beneath the towering 300-meter limestone cliffs that create a dramatic narrow canyon. Finally, we arrive at the Dades Valley, famous for its striking scenery and vibrant rock formations known as “Monkey Fingers.” You will spend the night in a charming hotel or Riad overlooking the valley.
After breakfast, our 8-day expedition continues as we leave the Dades Valley behind. We journey through the fragrant Valley of the Roses and the lush palm groves of Skoura toward Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa.” We will visit the Cinema Museum to see the sets of legendary films, followed by the crown jewel: Ait Ben Haddou. This UNESCO World Heritage site is the most impressive and best-preserved fortified village (Kasbah) in Morocco, having starred in masterpieces like Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia.
In the afternoon, we begin our ascent into the majestic High Atlas Mountains. We will cross the Tizi n’Tichka pass, the highest mountain road in North Africa (2,260m), offering breathtaking panoramic views of deep valleys, snow-capped peaks, and traditional Berber villages clinging to the hillsides. We will arrive in the vibrant city of Marrakech by late afternoon. Overnight stay in a luxurious Riad in the Medina.
Today is dedicated to discovering the wonders of Marrakech, a city that perfectly balances ancient tradition with modern elegance. We begin at the Menara Gardens, an expansive olive grove with its iconic central pool and pavilion. Your guided tour will continue through the city’s architectural masterpieces: the Koutoubia Mosque, the artistic Majorelle Garden with its vibrant blue walls, and the intricate mosaics of the Bahia Palace. We will also explore the Dar Si Said Palace, home to a stunning collection of Moroccan jewelry and craftsmanship.
After an optional lunch in the heart of the Medina, you will wander through the colorful Souks, where the scents of spices and the artistry of local craftsmen create a sensory feast. As the day draws to a close, we will enjoy a sunset drink on a terrace overlooking the legendary Jemaa El-Fnaa Square, watching the city come alive with storytellers and music. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel or Riad.
En su último día, partiremos de la vibrante energía de Marrakech y viajaremos hacia la costa atlántica para llegar a Casablanca , el moderno corazón comercial del Reino.
