Day 1: Casablanca – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes
Today we start our tour and explore the best cultural places in Casablanca. Our tour of Casablanca will also include a visit to the Hassan II Mosque and after lunch. We will head towards Meknes, an ancient imperial city. Our 7-Days trip from Casablanca continues with a visit to the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Then we continue to Fes where we spend a night in a local riad / hotel including dinner and breakfast.
Day 2: Exploration of Fes – guided tour of the city
Our 7-Days trip from Casablanca continues with a guided tour to Fes and we discover Fes by walking through the medina. Fes was founded by Idriss II and is the oldest Imperial city. Fes is also characterized by its traditional Arab-Muslim culture. You can discover the Mosque of Andalusia, also the famous tanneries, the Medersas, and we will visit after the new part of the city. We spend the night at the hotel/riad with dinner and breakfast…
Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga
After breakfast, we head for Ifrane, nicknamed “the Switzerland of Morocco”. We continue towards Midelt, then we follow the Ziz valley to reach the town of Erfoud, known for its fossil products then we pursue our tour to Rissani to explore its souk. After that, our trip ends in Merzouga where we stay in a deserted hotel with dinner and breakfast.
Day 4: Merzouga Desert and camel ride to the desert camp
A new day begins, After breakfast, we will explore the desert region of Merzouga by visiting the village of Khamia, famous for its musicians. We will take a lunch break with the Nomads. We will be preparing for a camel ride through the dunes. Once we arrive at the camp, we discover the desert region, have dinner at the campfire and enjoy the traditional Berber dinner. We are spending the night in desert tents.
Day 5: Merzouga Desert – Todra Gorge – Dades Gorge
early in the morning, don’t miss the sunrise in the Merzouga desert. After that, we return to the village on camels. After showering and breakfast in the riad, we will move to Rissani, Tinghir, and we will arrive at the Todra Gorge which is the highest and narrowest gorge in Morocco. Lunch break in the gorges, we will pursue to the Dades Valley, where we can admire the sand castles and rock formations called “monkey toes”. We stay in the Dades Gorges in a hotel with dinner and breakfast.
Day 6: Dades Gorges – Ouarzazat- Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast our tour continues and we take the road to Ouarzazate passing the path of the thousand Kasbahs. We will stop in the centre of the Rose Valley called Kalaat Mgouna where we can visit a local rose cooperative. Then we continue our tour through Ait Ben Haddou, the local kasbah was built by El Glaoui in the 19th century. We cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass over the High Atlas Mountains. Then we continue towards Marrakech
Day 7: Marrakech city tour – Casablanca
We will have a guided tour of Marrakech. You will discover the city’s main attractions and monuments, including the famous Jamma el Fna place, the Kotubia Mosque, souks, palaces, museums. We also visit the new part of the city called Gueliz, the Menara and Marjolle gardens. Then we will road to Casablanca where our tour ends…
